The points are accumulated through each round and tallied up. Whomever has the most points at the end of the tournament is
the winner. Each round is worth the following:
Round of Thirty-two.............. 2 points for each team
Sweet Sixteen..................... 4 points for each team
Elite Eight........................... 6 points for each team
Final Four........................... 8 points for each team
Championship Game............ 10 points for each team
Champion............................ 12 points for correct
Example:
Out of 32 games in the first round you select 25 games correct. Then your Round of Thirty-Two score would be 50 points.
How the Tie-Breaker Works
To prevent not so uncommon instance that there is a tie we have came up with tie-breaking formula. On each bracket there
is a line where you estimate the score of the tournament championship. You guess what the score of each team will be then
add them together.
Example:
Mad Ballers -> 75 Insane Hoopers -> 62
75 + 62 = 137 total points
The person closes to the total score will be named the winner. If they have the exact same total score then we will refer
to the individual team score to settle the incredible tight tie.
