Automatic Bids

eventually I will post my bracket on this page to prove to everyone that I don't cheat in the event that i win...i'll post it either wednesday night or thursday morning so i don't have too many copiers...

Wow, it's going to be difficult to a get a WHOLE NEW selection committee rounded up for next year.  With their performance this year, some might get hired back on to clean up after the new committee.  They give George Washington an 8 seed based on stregnth of schedule...ok, i can deal with that...but please explain to me the addition of utah state, seton hall, and air force to the feild.  If you are going to rely so heavily on the RPI while seeding George Washington, then why are you throwing the RPI away when adding those awful bubble squads.  Seton Hall a 10 seed!?...please...18-11 with a first round loss to Rutgers...not a loss but a complete hammering.  Indiana a 6 seed??? yea, i said they could deserve MAYBE a 7...but the committee has no regard for those 2 team's inconsistency...both went 18-11, but they both got higher seeds than they deserved...let alone Seton Hall shouldn't have gotten in.  back to Air Force...you've GOT to be kidding me...RPI of 50 no wins in the top 50!?  why not let a team more deserving in...florida state, michigan, cincinatti.  Rediculous.  I know its special to think that mid major schools deserve just as much of a look as a power conference school...but the truth is, mid major schools are scared and shy away from scheduling anyone good...which brings me to another cute little anecdote...Again, back to the inconsistency of the RPI...I use G.W.'s weak stregnth of schedule to give them an 8 seed with the best record in the nation...but Air Force's weak schedule awarded them an undeserving spot in the field of 65...i hope illnois beats airforce 85-40.
